Suggestions ?

Feel free to use this thread for suggestions that you have that would help make the site better.. These are some things that are currently being worked on: - Short Term - Flash rollovers on explore menu Flash Banners for promoting your pages Background for site New vocal tags (what do you guys want it to say?) Free sounds for producers - Long term - Battle system Affiliate system Feel free to drop some ideas

	New update: Ok I have finished the explore rollovers and will be working on the Flash banners soon... Also within a couple days we will be updating the site so the url in the browser of your member profiles will show as beats4tracks.com/band_name instead of beats4tracks.com/members/1/index.php

	Hey I thought I would give you guys another update, I have looked into changing the url member browser and it will take longer than expected because I will have to re-write the codes for all the links on the site that go to your pages. So most likely I will be putting that off and instead I'll be doing the flash banners first. I'm looking to have the banners done by the end of the week.

	Thanks LD it means alot! To give you guys another update i've been trying to get the flash banners working multiple ways but for some reason the script is just not working. I'm gonna give it a few more tries cause we really want to have some custom banners (They would say your producer name, number of beats etc.) i'll let you know how that goes, hopefully i can get it working...

	yea i like this site so far its easy to use id like to see a better forum layout with some structure and more promotion for the site as well i mean people stop by and visit buy a beat and leave thats cool and all but the community will never build like that i promote the site on various spots i hit i urge other to do the same

	Hey Wemo, I'll see what we can do about making the forum better and I agree that building a stronger community would really help the site - maybe we'll try a contest or something to get more people involved. In terms of promotion we would love to see more producers linking to their beat pages from their myspace/personal sites etc. but in the end that is up to you guys. Thanks for the suggestions!

I think we should be able to have like an E-Mail or something for the people that buy our beats. That way we can contact them. Like on my page i offer to mix and master the track with their lyrics on them. But i can't really do that if i can't e-mail them and let them know once they've brought the beat. Also, i like to work with contracts, and i can't give my contacts to people that buy my beat if i don't have their e-mail lol. Just a thought. :)

Hey LD, People that buy beats have the ability to contact you through the site for any promo's that may go along with purchasing your beat. If we gave you their info we would be breaking our privacy policy and also spam laws because they never opted in or confirmed to receive e-mails from the producer. As soon as one producer gets canned with a spam complaint we could also take the fall because we gave away their info. By contracts what exactly do you mean? the rights to use the beat? Because those rights are outlined in our terms of service that must be read before signing up, which is essentially a digital contract. My contracts state the terms of use, like the non-exclusive leases are for 2500 copies, then another lease must be purchasd. erm, i got info on smaple credits also and that the instrumental is only valid for one recording, then you must purchase another lease. just standard stuff but i gotta make sure my **** is covered lol. I get why you mean about the privacy poicy thing. There isn't a way that we can have to option to attatch contracts to the beats, so when they get the dl link it will ocme down with the beat? thanks for the info btw :)

	Alright, I've looked into this a bit and we are going to have a link in the email so the artist will be able to download the license after making a purchase. We'll write up something simple but they'll need to fill out the information themselves (beat name etc) We'll get that done sometime this week. - Beats4tracks Team
